SUSANNA CHASE

Susanna has a diverse range of experience in the development and legal fields, as well as working with children in both academic and athletic settings.

 

Throughout college and law school, Susanna dedicated her extracurricular time to working with kids, from coaching soccer for girls ages 7 through college to mentoring in San Francisco's poorest neighborhoods and high schools.

Each year Fundagol hires an incredible staff at BA Cup so that teams receive the best possible service in Argentina. 

 

The BA Cup staff is made up of young professionals from all over the world including the USA, Latin America and Europe.  

ASHLEY HOVEY

Ashley earned her Bachelor’s Degree in international relations and linguistics from Pomona College where she also played varsity soccer for four years. Ashley spent her Junior year in Italy during which she mastered a third language. After college, Ashley pursued her MBA from Dartmouth’s Tuck University and is now the director of Strategic Planning for Comcast. Ashley currently lives in Los Angeles, California. 

MICHAEL STEINBERGER

Director

Mike is the current Dean of Western CUNA Management School and an Associate professor of economics at Pomona College in Claremont, California.  Mike earned his Bachelor’s degrees in economics, political science, and statistics from the University of California at Berkeley, as well as a Ph.D. in economics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.  Mike’s research and teaching focuses on gender inequality and wage differentials.

ANNA RENERY

From 2009 to 2017, Anna lived in Argentina where she created and directed the BA Cup. In addition to her tournament experience, she has coached several youth soccer teams and developed many soccer programs for young girls. Anna earned her degree in Economics from Pomona College where she was a 4 year varsity soccer player, team captain, and all-region NCAA athlete. Anna also received the Pomona college athlete of the year award for her athletic and academic achievements. Throughout her life, Anna has collaborated with her father, former professional soccer player, to organize soccer camps including the Burlingame Soccer Camp, Menlo Soccer Camp, and Sacred Heart Prep Soccer Camp for children living in the Bay Area. Anna currently lives in Austin, Texas. 

KATHERINE MOSKOP

Director

Katherine is a former four-year collegiate soccer player. While playing at Pomona College, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in public policy. In her Junior year, Katherine lived and played soccer in South Africa. Today, she works as an attorney in Boston, Massachusetts. In her part time, Katherine draws upon her playing days to volunteer as a coach for local teams in her area.
